Driving instructions to the
Coral Bay / Pegeia (Peyia) Area
from Paphos Airport
On leaving the airport car park turn left and continue along this road for
approx 4k. (the sea will be on your right). You will reach a 'T' junction,
turn left here following the signs for Pafos (Paphos). Continue along this
road for approx 10k. You will then find a big round about at the entrance of
the town. Turn towards the "tourist area" sign posted and follow this way
(you will see Debenhams shop on your right). Pass the second round about and
continue staright towards the tourist area. You will find another round
about and then turn towards tomb of the Kings road i.e. 3/4 cicle of the
round about. You will find a couple of trafic lights and then a a big
juction with signs to the left harbour and staight ahead to the tomb of the
kings road and coral bay.
Continue along this road. You will pass many hotels (Venus Hotel, Laura
Hotel, Azia Hotel) bars and restaurants (the sea will be on your left). You
will pass through 2 sets of traffic lights and shortly the 2nd set you will
see The Paphian Sun Complex to your left and The Crazy Spoon Restaurant /
Snooker Hall to your right. The road starts to go downhill and to your left
you will see the Karolis Fish Tavern, you will now follow the coastline for
approx 1.5k. You are now in the Coral Bay Pegeia (Peyia) area. (From the
beginning of the Tombs of The Kings Road until here is approx 11k).
You will see signs for Coral Bay and Pegeia (Peyia) but continue along the
main road following signs for Agios Georgios (St. Georges). You will pass
the Petsas Restaurant on your left and the Go Karts and the Coral Breeze
Taverna on your right. You will then see the Gem Auto Garage on your left.
Shortly after this these is a signpost situated to your left (pointing
right) saying Police Station Pegeia (Peyia) and Polis, take the 1st right
after this which leads towards the Peyia Village. Follow that road for about
500 meters and you will see the Zalakia Sunset Villas sign on your left. (If
you reach the Eko Petrol Station you have gone to far it is the turning
before this. From the start of the St. Georges road to the Eko Petrol
Station is aprrox 3,5k).
